When young Robin Mitchell, a shady small-time businessman, unexpectedly witnesses the brutal gangland murder of a man with Mob ties, he is paralyzed with fear. Unnerved by the experience, but realizing he is the only eyewitness to the crime, he goes in to hiding convinced he will be the gangland killer's next victim.
